Licensing Options for ByteSize b-books

All b-books (e-books in ByteSize format) can be downloaded directly from our B-book Library. However, some b-books require a document license and/or a ByteSize Reader license before the b-book will open in the ByteSize Reader. The following icons and their descriptions explain when you can use our products at no charge and when a document and/or ByteSize Reader license is required.

This icon indicates BRT content. BRT content is FREE and does NOT require a ByteSize Reader license to access. Download and install the ByteSize Reader and any BRT document from our B-book Library. No account set-up or purchase is necessary. This is your way to “try before you buy.” Reference the Download-Install Guide for instruction in how to download and install the ByteSize Reader. Then download and view BRT documents to your heart's content.


This icon indicates BRP content. BRP content is available FREE to anyone who has a license for the ByteSize Reader. With a license for the ByteSize Reader, you get FREE access to all BRP b-books. No document license is required to open BRP documents, only a ByteSize Reader license. Read the Download-Install Guide for instruction in how to set up an account, purchase a ByteSize Reader license, and proceed with opening BRP documents. Look for BRP documents in our
B-book Library.

This icon indicates BRS content. BRS content requires both a document license AND a ByteSize Reader license to open. After you download and install the ByteSize Reader and any BRS b-book from our B-book Library, read the Download-Install Guide for instruction in how to set up an account, purchase the required licenses, and proceed with viewing your licensed BRS document(s) in the ByteSize Reader.

This icon indicates BRR content. BRR b-books are copyrighted and may require purchase of a document license. No ByteSize Reader license is required to open BRR b-books. Read the Download-Install Guide for instruction in how to set up an account, purchase the required license, and proceed with viewing your licensed BRR document(s) in the ByteSize Reader.
